Give Me Fire!

Mando Diao - penki energijos negailintys vyrukai iš Švedijos, prasimušę į pasaulinę rinką su albumu "Hurricane Bar". Albumo geriausios: "Down in the past", "God knows" ir švelniai užburianti "Ringing bells"(taip ir norisi niūniuoti "..in Saxton and Oakland, bringin' you home") tikrai buvo vertos tarptautinio pripažinimo. O vyrukai nesnaudė ir išleidę albumus: energingąjį "Ode to Ochrasy" ir amžinai įsimylėjusį "Never Seen the Light of Day", 2009 metais įrašė "Give Me Fire" ir dar kartą įrodė, kad jie tokie nuostabūs ne tik dėl gorgeous Gustaf Noren ir Bjorn Dixgard, bet ir dėl velniškai pavydėtino talento visiškai atsiduoti muzikai.

Taigi: "Give me fire".
Ok: KAS SUKŪRĖ VIRŠELĮ? Pirmoji mintis jį pamačius: "Ar iš tikrųjų Bjorno žandikaulis TOKS didelis?" ir "Ar Gustaf tikrai toks panašus į vanagą?" Jei tai buvo priemonė, kaip atsikratyti pamišusių gerbėjų išryškinant savo veido minusus ant CD viršelio ir visą dėmesį nukreipti Mats'ui - sveikinu, beveik pavyko.

Jei kažkas man nematant paleistų šį albumą, iš karto atpažinčiau, kad tai Mando Diao. Su jiems ir tik tai jiems (atsiprašau, bet be Wolfmother aš nemačiau grupės, kuri taip taškytųsi scenoje) būdinga energija ir pagaunančia melodija pasitinka pirmoji albumo daina - "Blue lining, white trenchcoat" . Isteriškai įtikinamas Gustaf vokalas nepalieka kitos išeities, išskyrus išprotėjimą - užsikrėsti šėlsmu.

Toliau pasitinka tikriausiai didžiausias šio šedevro hitas "Dance with somebody". Šiek tiek daugiau nei minutę trunkantis intro suteikia paslaptingumo jausmą. Ir ŠTAI: nuostabiai derantis žemas Bjorno vokalas: "I'm falling in love with your favourite song, I'm gonna sing it all night long - I'm gonna dance with somebody". Dievaži, šokčiau su juo iki paryčių.

Jokio staigaus melodijos šuolio ir kitoje dainoje, kurią išgirdus net mano mama įsimylėjo šią švedų kvintą, liepė pagarsinti TV ir kartu su manim mėgavosi jų MTV winter šou - "Gloria". "She don't need to see the sun ahead, don't need that help from God above". Taip, tikriausiai kiekviena mergina galėtų atrasti savyje truputį Glorijos. By the way, labai šaunus Jorn'o Heitmann'o video su švediškais prieskoniais.

Bene seksualiausia visų laikų grupės daina, motyvuojanti moteris devėti aukštakulnius, o vyrus žiūrėti ir varvinti seiles - "High heels". Seksuojam klausydami velniškai šiai dainai tinkančių Gustaf balso manierų ir runnin'am out of words. Is it possible to fall asleep after this one?

"Mean Street"! Uno dos tres truputį išgąsdina, tačiau super linksmas ritmas priverčia keltis iš lovos ir šypsotis išėjus iš namų praeiviams ir bent trumpam pamilti savo rajoną (Ok, ne mano rajoną, jis apgailėtinas)

Prisipažinsiu, kad "Maybe Just Sad" yra mažiausiai mano klausoma albumo daina. Na nepatinka man tos dainos apie karą, badaujančius afrikiečius ir Green Day primenantį rasizmą. Subjektyvi mano nuomonė. I hope you think different.

"A decent life" - trumputė įžanga prieš "Give me fire", kurią ir vėl ypatinga daro įmantrus Gustaf vokalas."Coma, you're my brightest shining star, you're my darkness in the morning, winter morning" . Žavi tai, kad nereikia būti amžinai verkiančiais iglesiais, jog pasakytum kažką nuoširdaus.

Vienuoliktoji albumo daina "Go out tonight" originali savo atlikimu: ją atlieka abu grupės vokalistai ir būtent tai jai suteikia išskirtinumo. Let's drink up for those who left us standing at the gates of dawn and all the bastards leaving us without a cause; They'll trail us down and kill us

Albumas baigiasi "The Shining" (įdedu akustinį variantą). Ką galiu pasakyti apie dainą? Jeigu būčiau vyras ir pirščiaus mylimąjai, imčiau gitarą ir atlikčiau būtent šią. Išvados? Švedijoj muzika nesibaigia ties ABBA! Ši švedų penkeriukė kontrastiškai įvairiapusė: užveža savo greitomis melodijomis arba sukuria romantišką atmosferą akustiniais šedevrais. Beje, nepatingėkit pasiklausyti akustinio "Gloria" įrašo ir kitų grupės darbų.
